The MSR WaterWorks EX Water Filter is the taskmaster version of the MSR MiniWorks EX filter. The WaterWorks EX is the taskmaster version of the MSR MiniWorks EX filter. It uses the Marathon Ceramic cartridge and removes waterborne pathogens through chemical-free filtration in just one pass of water, just like the MiniWorks EX filter. The difference is in the 0.2-micron PES Membrane cartridge which means even better performance. This second-stage filter removes all viruses attached to particles .2-micron or larger, making it excellent for use in third world countries. This high-quality cartridge exceeds the EPA’s requirements for bacteria and protozoa removal. But all you need to know is it will give you cleaner water with a faster turn-around.

Very well designed.
The entire filter can be disassembled without tools. It's also clear so you can see if something's not working. When I received the filter it pumped very slowly. I could tell that the input check valve was most stuck shut. I had it fixed in a few minutes. I used it on a camping trip. It pumped fast and produced good tasting water, that didn't have any problems.
